Earlier Works

These are a few of my earlier works.
I created the Empress tea as well as the label; black tea with rose petals, lavender buds, and orange zest, then collaged and mod podged the label onto a Dollar Tree jar, blinged it up and glued beads to the lid. It's not bad tea! I made it because I couldn't justify continuing to buy the tea it was inspired by any more - small containers on etsy are more expensive than a big container you can refill, and I was not well off at the time. Poverty forces you to be creative and resourceful.
The Sugar collage is a collage dedicated to sugary junk food that I made on a black canvas. "Own Your Power" I made for a friend going through a hard time, and The Hierophant was an extremely blinged up tarot card collaged onto a tiny, thick black canvas. The Christmas card was a simple collage on cardstock for my mom.
The quartz point and green muscovite statement necklace, bracelet and earrings were a special gift I made for the same friend to whom I gave "Own Your Power;" this was her wedding jewelry. I was incredibly honored to be asked to create the jewelry she wore to her wedding and reception.
I had a habit for a while of saving fun bottles and jars once they were empty, cleaning them out and painting and blinging them up. They started stacking up and I couldn't save all of them. Most of them ended up getting pressed into service to hold beads and incense.
I've had a lot of fun with painting and gluing sparkles onto things over the years, and now I have a little more experience and a creative outlet for it!
