Impromptu Art Installation

I was going through my nail polish and old sets of fake nails I've painted this morning. (If I like the color, I keep the set once I've taken it off to clean them up, spruce them up and use them again ... except I never seem to actually do it.)
I had them all in their beat up old ziploc bags ready to go in the trash when I thought, hold up, I can reuse all those old bags. I try to keep as much out of the trash as I can. So I poured all the nails out of the bags and stacked the bags to put them in the pile to hold art supplies or beads.

Then I saw the nail pile, full of colorful chips of plastic. A wild, random assortment of colorful things, which is a photographic theme I've always loved.
Why, I could do something with this, I thought. So I shaped it into a better pile and took some photos. Then I put them all together in one ziploc bag and put them in the cube with my other "Misc. Supplies."
Someday, somehow, I'm going to use them in either their own work or in a collage. Everything is art supplies.
