The Sunset Drive In Theater

Sadly, this beautiful old drive in that opened in 1947, the Sunset Drive In Theater, was mostly destroyed by winds of 110 miles an hour in November 2017. Google maps shows a barn salvage place on the former site. Now it's just memories and old photos.
This photo was chosen for the Art For Life 2023 biennial auction. I was honored to have my work hanging in the Columbus Museum of Art next to such artists as Kendrick Tonn and Gavin Benjamin.
Framed at 8 X 8, this went for $140. For a 5 X 5 digital download, you can have it for $5.
It was taken with a Holga 120BC, a plastic toy camera that has its own photography subculture. Many of my photos here for download were taken with a Holga 120BC (square format 120 film) or a Holga 135 BC (rectangular format, takes 35mm film).
The Holga lends a sometimes eerie, sometimes nostalgic aura to a photo, along with its signature vignetted black corners.
