Cincinnati Union Terminal
1301 Western Avenue
Cincinnati, Ohio
I have two photos of Union Terminal, the other is a longer shot including the fountains.
Cincinnati Union Terminal is both a working train station (again) and home to a number of museums. It opened in 1933 and really shows off the architecture of that era.
It was taken with a Holga 120BC, a plastic toy camera that has its own photography subculture. Many of my photos here for download were taken with a Holga 120BC (square format 120 film) or a Holga 135 BC (rectangular format, takes 35mm film).
The Holga lends a sometimes eerie, sometimes nostalgic aura to a photo, along with its signature vignetted black corners.
