Red Aventurine is the name of a particular variation of aventurine;  you're likelier familiar with green aventurine, but it also comes in yellow, blue, and of course, red. However, the red variation isn't a red-red, it's on more of a peach to rust scale. These two stones are more of a peach color.
 
These red aventurine tumbled stones come from a local, trusted, longtime crystal shop; they are not a matched set, but two very similarly sized and shaped crystals with enough differences to give some visual interest. They are a simple, minimalist, post-against-stone earring, so the stone itself is all you'll see when wearing them.
 
If you're not into healing crystal lore, but more into geology or just like the look, these are a stone not common in jewelry.  I've securely attached a nickel-free post to each crystal, and they are light enough that you won't know you're wearing them.
 
If you are into healing crystals, then the simple post-against-stone minimalism means the stone's energy is touching your skin with nothing between you and them. Red aventurine is a Root Chakra stone, and is therefore supposed to help with grounding and stability, as well as giving confidence and energy.
