The Sherlock Holmes Pub

10 Northumberland St,

London WC2N 5DB

Taken on a trip to London six years ago (pre-Brexit, pre-pandemic ... ah, the way we were).  Still there, unlike many of my subjects.

This photo, also unlike many of my photos, is a digital photo, taken with my old Canon Digital Rebel. Most of my uploads here are originally taken on film cameras.

I took this on the very last day of my trip; I was scheduled to fly out of London for home mid-afternoon, but had the morning hours to make it out and see a few things. I took the District Line from my hotel at Earl's Court to the Embankment stop and got out into a fine mist of cold rain (I love rain). I passed the florist, walked up Villiers Street, cut through Charing Cross Station, passed the Ship & Shovell (I must not have been fully awake - I can't believe I didn't stop for a picture of it) and walked down Craven Passage and there it was.
