My Seasonal Book

I live by the seasons; as I live in the Midwest, we get the full array of them and they are glorious. I've already posted about my love of autumn, but I could go into winter, spring, & summer at great length too. (And probably will.)
The activities, music, foods, visuals of each season are something I cherish getting to experience every year when they roll around again. I swap out perfumes to work with the seasons, go to the same places every year or two at the same times, have seasonal playlists and bucket lists.
And of course, I have cherished memories of events in all of the seasons; an autumn breeze will bring to mind a day trip with my mom, a glimpse of a creek in the summer can bring back an afternoon spent wading in one near Mansfield with a high school friend. In the midst of intense snowstorms, I remember the time during the blizzard of '78 when we had to find heat where we could and I created my own board games to pass the time.
To memorialize the memories and celebrate the traditions and fun of the

seasons, I've created a book. It's a hardcover sketchbook which I've divided into four equal sections. Each section/season gets a tab and backgrounds themed for each, then seasonal washi tape seals the edges of each page. Currently, this is done; now comes the writing about the memories and any other text. I am working on finding a way to add the text so that it's easy to read but doesn't necessarily mean gluing down great whacks of printed out white copy paper.
Then comes fun traditions, seasonal decorations, etc.
This will truly be a magical book of memories and traditions when it's done, and I'll share a little more as I go on.
Why Not: Think about your favorite time of year and do something to memorialize it?
