Dr. Strange (& A JoAnn Fabrics Regret)
Dr. Strange is one of my long term artistic inspirations dating from childhood; the magical, mystical, psychedelic high-concept weirdness of the '70s comic books grabbed hold of my little tiny Pisces Moon self and never let go. I still love and am inspired by wild swirling patterns, fluorescent and neon colors, and things that glow as if lit from within. So when the movie came out in 2016, I was of course, very happy. And within the month, I was wandering the aisles of Joann

Early Works
These are a few of my earlier works. I created the Empress tea as well as the label; black tea with rose petals, lavender buds, and orange zest, then collaged and mod podged the label onto a Dollar Tree jar, blinged it up and glued beads to the lid. It's not bad tea! I made it because I couldn't justify continuing to buy the tea it was inspired by anymore - small containers on etsy are more expensive than a big container you can refill, and I was not well off at the time. The Summer Line Is Live!
This small limited edition line was a lot of fun to make, but represents a lot of hard work and high hopes as well. I hope you like it as much as I do. I will add more items than just these summer line items to the site all summer - indeed, always - though they will usually be digital download art and photos. Thank you for your support! It means everything.

Summer Line Coming Soon!
Here's a sneak peek at a few of the items! The Magic Attic Art Co.'s Summer Line 2025 is coming out this Friday, June 20 - the day of the summer solstice, which is the last possible "first day of summer" for me to debut it. :D There's going to be a sketchbook/unlined notebook with a summer color collaged cover (say that ten times fast), four very glowy necklaces and matching bracelets, five pairs of toy earrings that feature aquatic lifeforms, a new linocut, and a summer zine

Lovely But Dead And Collaging
I follow Emily Morgan of Lovely But Dead on Instagram and consider her collages phenomenal. This woman plays on a field more elevated than my own. I had so many questions for her and wanted to learn from her. And then one day last month, I saw her post that she was teaching a one-off collage class at the McConnel Arts Center and I immediately signed up (manifestation works!). I went and learned the answer to every question I had, learned a few new up-leveling tricks for my o

The Transformation of Mrs. McTwig
I'm a Columbo fan. I started watching in 2021 and saw every episode. In the Janet Leigh episode (Forgotten Lady, Season 5, Episode 1), she shoots her husband while he's in bed reading a book. The book becomes a bit of a plot point. Columbo takes it to a bookshop and asks about it (it's about an Irish housemaid who wins a sweepstakes, I think?). Point being: look at that cover. I like it. Look at that title. Totally should have been a real book. Also, there's a song!...

I'm Dania.
I've been a photographer since 2006. My taste leans toward "spectacles." An amazing or surprising view, the unintentionally funny, very large (or unexpectedly small) things, the exceptionally beautiful, the vintage, the item not where you'd expect it, etc. I also love a simple and lovely domestic scene, or a setting with harmonious and beautiful color. I've been on Flickr since 2006, and that same year, I started my photo and music blog, All Eyes And Ears. I started it on B
